With its sophisticated, colorful style of presentation and its distinctive flavor, Japanese food and Japanese dining became very popular in many other countries, especially in Thailand.
Utaandon Japanese Restaurant unveiled itself in Bangkok, Thailand in 1992 to spice up the mediocre Japanese food available in the market at that time. After opening of the first Japanese restaurant branch in Bangkok’s Isetan Department Store in Central World Plaza (originally called World Trade Center), Utaandon introduced the second branch at The Emporium Shopping Complex in Bangkok in 1997.
Satisfying Japanese and impressing Thai and Western customers with its fresh, unique and homemade udon, ramen and soba noodles, Utaandon Japanese Restaurant quickly became a popular brand name in Bangkok and a synonym for traditional and authentic Japanese cuisine in Thailand.
